Ringtons announces partnership with Birmingham hotel
North East-based tea and coffee company Ringtons has announced a new partnership with a well known Birmingham city-centre hotel, following the completion of a multi-million pound refurbishment.
The deal means Ringtons is the sole provider of tea for the Hyatt Regency Hotel, which boasts 319 luxury bedrooms, conference facilities, restaurant and day spa.
The new account win comes just months after Ringtons appointed a new Business Development Manager in the South of England and the Midlands. Brandon Thurley is charged with supporting existing relationships with clients and boosting Ringtons’ business-to-business portfolio in the area.
Ringtons supplies the four-star hotel with a selection of quality Fair Trade loose tea for the restaurant and hotel bar. In addition, Ringtons’ single item teas, infusions, coffees and sugars are used in bedrooms, meeting rooms and spa.
Speaking of the account win Brandon Thurley from Ringtons Beverages said: “The Hyatt Regency Hotel is one of Birmingham’s biggest and most popular venues which attracts a business audience during the week and leisure visitors at the weekend, so for Ringtons it’s fantastic for us to be able to reach such a wide and varied audience who stay at the hotel from all over the country. It has been a pleasure working with the team at the Hyatt and I’m looking forward to building on our existing relationship for many more years to come.”
Alexander Eversberg from the Hyatt Hotel said: “Following our multi-million pound refurb we were looking for a tea and provider to supply our tea facilities in the hotel. Ringtons offered a one-stop service, great quality Fair Trade products, reliability and ongoing support which made them the perfect choice. The fact all of Ringtons’ tea is blended and packed in the UK is also a bonus to us and enables a quick turn-around which also equates to quality and freshness.”
