Tees Valley Joinery expands to UK Steel Enterprise’s Innovation Centre
Tees Valley Joinery has expanded to UK Steel Enterprise’s Innovation Centre, on Hartlepool’s Queens Meadow Business Park.
The joinery business, set up in 2013 by Rob Wilson and Adam Gallagher, will now be taking its services from bedroom to business centre, a site which boasts some of the region’s largest construction companies.
As business grew Rob’s brother Martin joined the company as Office Manager in 2014 and the trio is looking forward to further expansion.
“We are definitely benefitting from the up-surge in the construction sector,” said Adam Gallagher, “and are currently working on a number of large new-build projects. We are also involved with projects across the UK for shop-fitting company Caterbuild, based in Grantham.
“We are also carrying out work for some of our neighbours at the Innovation Centre, including Brickwork Services, and are confident that there is a lot of potential for us to grow,” he added.
Tees Valley Joinery is currently providing work for a bank of more than 22 qualified, experienced joiners and expects demand to grow faster now they have moved into managed business premises.
“Being in the Innovation Centre is making a difference from day one,” said Martin Wilson. “We have a prestigious address and surroundings, the office and storage space we need and the benefit of high speed broadband, free parking, a reception area and all the other facilities.
“Paula and the rest of the UK Steel Enterprise team have been just brilliant and we can now put all our time and effort into growing the business.”
Paula Addison of UK Steel Enterprise, the Tata Steel business support subsidiary, said: “We are very pleased that Tees Valley Joinery chose the Innovation Centre as a new home. We now have more than 50 young businesses housed here and it has been a busy few months with a number of new arrivals.”
