A new face as Coda Planning celebrates anniversary

CODA Planning, the planning division of award winning Sheffield architectural design agency Coda Studios, has appointed a new member of staff.

William Marshall, who graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in Urban Studies and Planning, joins Coda Planning as it celebrates its third anniversary and its most successful month of business since its launch.

“This is a very important time for William to become part of the team,” said Coda Planning director Adam Murray.

“Prime Minister David Cameron has only recently pledged government support for delivering affordable new starter homes and Coda Planning is currently working on the development of two major sites in the South East that will deliver this type of proposal.

“We are also working with local authorites across the country to ensure we can provide these sorts of projects that provide homes that the country needs, particularly for first time buyers.

“The fact that we have just enjoyed our most successful month since our launch clearly demonstrates that we are growing in our field and as the economy begins to heat again, people are understanding that we are the team to come to for the delivery of a successful project.

“Working alongside our colleagues at Coda Studios, we are also providing a design focussed direction for a wide range of projects across the Sheffield City Region, Leeds and West Yorkshire and in Manchester and the North West.

“William is going to play an important role as these projects continue to progress and we will be looking to expand our team even further very soon.”

Coda Planning’s range of services includes written representations, strategic land promotion, pre-application policy advice, planning statements, planning application coordination and submission of sequential tests, appeals, residential/employment/retail/leisure development, community consultation and exhibitions, urban regeneration, design and development and advertising and telecommunications planning.
