Ada Lovelace Day celebrates the achievements of the woman who was an inspirational scientist and the world’s first computer programmer.
Lyndsey Britton, Campus North co-founder, said, “Ada Lovelace Day is the perfect time for us to kick off events that aim to celebrate and inspire women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
“I am sure that Fabiola will be a fascinating speaker and it’s a chance for everyone, whether or not they work in STEM, to find out more about the impact of technology and the opportunities it offers.”
The event is free, starts at 6pm on Tuesday 13th October at Campus North, Carliol Square, and places can be booked at eventbrite.
