WhatCulture.com to remain in the North East with Baltic Place expansion
Film, TV and gaming website, WhatCulture.com has taken 5,500 sq ft of office space within Baltic Place, on Gateshead’s Quay.
Cushman and Wakefield acted on behalf of landlord South Shore Developments to agree the deal.
The website, which has established itself as a “go to place for all things film, TV and gaming”, has taken 5,500 sq ft of office space within Baltic Place located on Gateshead’s Quay.
The new headquarters are designed to meet the company’s requirements, including features such as a video production room and a staff breakout area with games consoles and a pool table.
Peter Willis, WhatCulture’s co-founder, said: “We very much see our roots remaining firmly in the North East, with our new premises now matching our ambitions for the company.”
Chris Dent, Cushman and Wakefield Office Agency team, said: “This letting marks a strong year for Baltic Place, which is now for the first time over 60% let.
