McAuliffe tackles new ground with Sale Sharks sponsorship
Specialist environmental contractor McAuliffe Group has kicked off the rugby union season with its sponsorship of Sale Sharks stars Magnus Lund and new signing Peter Stringer.
McAuliffe is sponsoring Lund and Stringer throughout the 2015/2016 season, and company managing director John McAuliffe cheered the players on at the annual Sale Sharks corporate summer barbecue and training day.
McAuliffe transforms brownfield sites for future development. The family-run business provides its UK-wide customers with services including soil and groundwater remediation, materials management, ground improvement and demolition offerings. John McAuliffe, managing director at McAuliffe, said: “We’re really proud to be sponsoring Magnus and Peter this season – it’s a very exciting time for rugby as the World Cup kicks off.
“On a personal level, I’m a huge rugby fan and am excited to be supporting the team as the new season gets underway.” Andrew Lamb, Head of Partnerships at Sale Sharks, said: “This sponsorship deal sees us active again within the construction market – a stronghold sector where rugby interest is concerned. We’re looking forward to seeing McAuliffe Group at the AJ Bell Stadium this season and supporting their business.”
