People Experts Director announced as Survivors Manchester ambassador

Tom Leavesley, Director of The People Experts has been announced as the inaugural Survivors Manchester UK Ambassador.

The announcement was made at the charity’s seventh Annual General Meeting. The charity applauded Mr. Leavesley for his ongoing support including his recent Mount Kilimanjaro climb which saw Tom raise £6,500 for Survivors Manchester.

Commenting on the announcement, Tom said: “It is with great pleasure to be awarded this. I have seen first-hand the fantastic support that Survivors Manchester provides to a growing number of people like me in the Greater Manchester area as well as their national media campaigns such as #BreakTheSilence.

“I am looking forward to working with Survivors Manchester to continue to raise awareness of their fantastic work and support them whether it is personally or through the support of The People Experts.”

Survivors Manchester is a charity that supports men and boys like Tom that have survived sexual abuse, sexual violence and exploitation in the Greater Manchester area.

Tom is now planning his next challenge as part of his ongoing commitment to working with the charity both personally and through support from The People Experts.
