Bilfinger GVA’s Business Rates team in Manchester has been appointed to carry out a rates review of city’s newest five-star hotel, Gotham Manchester.
The Business Rates team, which has a team of 52 specialists nationally, has conducted a rating review to analyse the hotel’s trading operations. The team reviewed the hotel’s trading patterns, competitor impact and cost profile to advise on the appropriate level.
Alex Dickinson, director at Bilfinger GVA, said “We are pleased to have been appointed to conduct a rates review of the exclusive Gotham Manchester. The hotel is one of the city’s new key landmarks due to its iconic setting in the Grade II Lutyens designed former Midland bank.
“Our specialist hotels team handles over 200 hotel rating instructions nationally, with a rateable value of more than £70 million. We advise on a range of operations from budget accommodation, London iconic hotels to five star country house hotels.”
