Pol Kefton Kitchens receive prestigious living status

High-end kitchen providers Pol Kefton Kitchens celebrated a prestigious accreditation, with a little help from renowned River Cottage head chef Bruce Cole.

The award winning company’s studio in Morpeth, which opened in 2007, has been granted ‘living kitchen’ status from the luxury appliance brand Sub-Zero & Wolf. One of only six such displays in the country, Living Kitchen status is a seal of approval from the acclaimed manufacturer

To mark the occasion, Thursday night saw a culinary masterclass from the award winning South African Chef Bruce Cole at Pol Kefton’s Morpeth showroom. Bruce christened Pol Kefton’s new Living Kitchen and showed just what it could do with a cookery demonstration for guests, serving up hand dived west country scallops and Exmoor venison haunch, finished with apple and blackberry tarte tatin.

Bruce Cole said ‘It really is fantastic to work in a kitchen like this with these state of the art appliances. They are built to last, sturdy yet modern and a dream to cook on.’

Pol Kefton Kitchens, part of the family-run Pol Kefton group, was conceived nine years ago with a vision of bringing cutting edge design and state of the art appliances to the home. The endorsement from Sub-zero & Wolf is just the latest accolade for the company, which also provides top-class products from the likes of Siemens, Gaggenau and BoConcept.
