Durham business centre The Manor House reveals three new tenants

Three new tenants have taken up residency at Durham business centre The Manor House, owned and managed by Manor House 1707 Ltd, a local enterprise that is run by business partners Ean Parsons and Ian Philipson.

The latest tenants are Nightingales Community Care, Pillar III Developments and regeneration consultancy Buckley Burnett.

The Grade II listed building was transformed into a business centre following a change in ownership earlier this year. Since its launch as an office location in late January, the 18th Century three storey Manor House in Sedgefield has welcomed a succession of small firms and has also hosted a series of business events.

Ean Parsons, managing director of Manor House 1707 Ltd, adds: “When we launched Manor House 1707, we outlined a vision to develop the building into an active and dynamic business hub in Sedgefield that could really contribute to the economy and wider community here. I am delighted that this objective is starting to come to fruition and there is now a definite buzz around the Manor House.

“The firms that have rented space are providing excellent feedback about the facilities and some are already starting to work together, which is really good to see. We still have some rooms and suites available, but I am sure that they will be occupied soon.

“Meanwhile, the events programme has been very popular and I am confident that the formation of the Sedgefield Business Club will take that to another level, firmly establishing the Manor House as one of the region’s most vibrant and distinctive small business centres.”
