Two West Sussex businesses named in BDO’s profit growth list
Two West Sussex companies have featured in this year’s list of top 20 companies demonstrating sustained and impressive profit growth as part of accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP’s Central South Mid Market focus.
Fareham-based cloud computing company, Cobweb Solutions Limited and Chichester-based construction company, W Stirland Holdings Limited were both included in the list, which was release today.
Jane Mulholland, BDO Partner, commented: “Interestingly, some of the most successful companies don’t come from the ‘dynamic’ sectors that might be expected to bring significant profit growth, but from more traditional industries such as civil engineering, manufacturing and logistics.
“In my experience, profitable growth is delivered by strong management teams who plan for all eventualities. Speed of reaction, efficiencies, diversification and bold business model restructuring, can all help to change and control a company’s destiny.”
BDO Partner Steve Le Bas added: “We have discovered that the really successful companies have gone back to the basics of business – customer satisfaction, quality products and services, value for money – although talent, experience and technological advances have also played their part.”
