Story Homes’ North East wins prestigious UK award
Story Homes’ North East development wins prestigious UK award
STORY Homes’ The Woodlands development in Shotley Bridge, County Durham, has won ‘Best Residential Development Durham’ in the prestigious UK Property Awards.
The awards, judged by over 70 property experts and specialists, are recognised as the most demanding and rigorous in the property sector.
Steve Errington, Chief Executive of Story Homes, said: “We are delighted to have won a UK Property Award and to be celebrated for the quality of The Woodlands.
“This recognition of our work comes at an excellent time as we are expanding our North East operations significantly with new developments planned across the region
“At Story Homes we take great pride in achieving the highest standards in our work, from the overall design of a development through to the individual finishing on each property.
“This attention to detail has led us to become known in the industry for high-quality homes and developments.”
Story Homes’ The Beeches development also won in the UK Property Awards, for the ‘Best Residential Cumbria’ category.
The Woodlands also achieved a UK Property Award in 2013 for ‘Best Development Multiple Units’. It offers an attractive collection of houses and apartments close to the Derwent Valley but only 30 minutes away from Newcastle and 25 minutes from the A1. Bordered by woodland, from which the development takes its name, it offers beautiful views in a rural location.
Story Homes has developments across North East England, Cumbria, Lancashire and Southern Scotland. In 2015, the company anticipates delivering more than 550 homes across its development portfolio. Already winner of many UK Property Awards, Story Homes is one of the most commended housebuilders in the country.
