Fast Growing Business Looking to Hired
Hired announces exponential growth in UK clients and talent as Britain’s tech rise continues
- Over 300 UK fast growing companies now using Hired
- 3,000 interview requests
- 13,000 candidate applications
Over 300 of the UK’s fastest growing businesses have joined new online recruiting platform Hired.co.uk since launch in March 2015, as the demand for Britain’s skilled, digital workforce grows.
Hired, which gives fast growing businesses direct access to a curated pool of highly qualified talent, has helped global giants such as Funding Circle, Blippar and WorldRemit, as well as Britain’s fast 50 companies like Lyst, Marketinvoice and Duedil, to find highly qualified talent attracted by the opportunities within this new wave of tech disruptors.
Over 13,000 candidates have joined Hired.co.uk in the last six months, taking advantage of the platform’s careers guidance and the opportunity to compare the benefits upfront, including salaries, offered by UK businesses. This unique marketplace approach places candidates in charge of the hiring process, allowing them to decide which opportunities they want to pursue. Candidate experience is at the heart of the Hired platform. Candidates get their own dedicated Talent Advocate who acts as a careers coach to them throughout their job search. In addition to helping them find a job they love, Hired pays candidates a bonus of £1200 when they get hired through the platform.
Layla Kidwai, Head of Talent at WorldRemit comments: “Recruiters can overwhelm you with calls, texts and emails, but with Hired I get excited on Monday mornings at the thought of seeing my weekly email reminding me to log in and see a new batch of candidates.“
Ryan Shmaltz, Executive Vice President, Product Development at Blippar added: “The Blippar team is growing rapidly, and Hired is instrumental in connecting us with top talent across engineering, product, and design.“
Hired UK is part of a global technology explosion and alongside its sister services in the US, is helping firms to source the talent they need to grow. London is already the fourth largest market for Hired behind San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles, all of whom launched in 2014.
Sophie Adelman, Hired’s UK General Manager comments: “Today we’re focused on tech talent and are about to launch the for sales talent, but ultimately, we want to be the place everyone begins and ends their job search. Hired has helped thousands of highly qualified individuals find their jobs at leading companies. It’s an accomplishment we’re incredibly proud of, but the reality is that our ambitions are much, much bigger: We’re on a mission to empower everyone to find a job they love, making the recruitment process less painful and much more efficient.“
As the UK technology landscape and start-up ecosystem continues to flourish, Hired expects London to track its New York business with continued month-on-month growth in clients and candidates through 2016.
