Housebuilder acquires site in Colburn, North Yorkshire
A leading housebuilder has acquired a 2.47 acre parcel of land in Colburn to bring much-needed new homes to the area.
Persimmon Homes Teesside will build 47 properties on derelict land that was formerly home to InPipe Products, located two miles west of Catterick.
The development will comprise a mix of three and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached dwellings with the first legal completions expected for April 2016.
Joan Peart, head of sales for Persimmon Homes Teesside, said: “The site at Colburn is in a great location and our plans will ensure that a range of homes are developed to support the demand in the area.
“We’ve been actively building homes in the North East of England for a number of years and this latest deal is testament to our commitment to further extending our operations.
“Persimmon Homes has a great reputation for delivering quality, affordable homes and we’re sure the local community will benefit from the increased number of houses available.”
