The Education Network expands to Middlesbrough with new office launch

The Education Network, a North East educational recruitment company, has expanded with a new office in Middlesbrough.

The company recruits teachers, teaching assistants, nursery nurse staff and SEN (special educational needs) specialists and matches them with schools and colleges looking for staff.

The investment in new premises within Victoria House on Albert Road is the fourth Education Network office to open in the region and 14th nationally.

In the past four years The Education Network has seen its turnover rise from £600k to a projected turnover of £11.5m in 2015. The business employs 33 experienced education professionals to help schools get the best possible teachers.

Company director, Kevin Gill, said: “We are proud to be able to increase the level of service and support we provide to our clients in the south of the region.

“The Middlesbrough office will offer a round the clock service 365 days a year as we understand the best teachers are at work during office hours. By investing in our Middlesbrough office we can ensure that we work to meet the demands of our clients and continually network and recruit to source the highest calibre of candidate.

“We fully understand the challenges and difficulties facing schools today and are continuously researching and developing new tools and methods that will help reduce our clients’ resourcing spend whilst keeping quality high.

“Every office is staffed with experienced educational professionals, ex teachers and former head teachers who are passionate in the pursuit of supporting teachers across the country to deliver outstanding education opportunities to young people.”

The Middlesbrough investment has also led to the appointment of Julie Skipp, she said: “The Education Network has an enviable reputation for outstanding client service within the sector and I’m very honoured to be joining the North East team to head-up the Middlesbrough office.
