Fake Landscapes plants new roots on Fulham Road

Fake Landscapes, the artificial plant company, has taken a lease on a new outlet at 301 Fulham Road.

Sloane Stanley Estate, one of the country’s oldest landowning estates in London, has announced the 1,900 sq ft brand’s flagship store will open 28 October.

The retailer, which opened its first store in 1988, provides high-end artificial flowers, plants and trees for both commercial and private clients.

The brand’s Fulham Road store has been designed by Paul Lazzaro of NFAW, and offers an extensive range of outdoor-grade topiary plus a spectacular range of silk flowers.

The new store is located in close proximity to other premium design brands on Fulham Road, including C.P. Hart and Farrow and Ball.

Commenting on the opening of Fake Landscapes, Hannah Grievson, Commercial Property Manager at Sloane Stanley, said: “Fake Landscapes is a unique

addition to our retail line up, adding to the appeal for our international visitors and resident shoppers. This is an exciting time to be launching on the Fulham Road and is the ideal location for this brand to build on its success in the UK.“

Commenting on the selection of Fulham Road, Shaun Skelly, MD of Fake Landscapes said: “We’ve been looking for a prime location for our new store and we are delighted to have selected one of London’s most iconic shopping destinations. The Fulham Road store is large enough to house our vast range of plants and flowers. The space is fantastic and we’re in the right company amongst other top design brands.”

Fake Landscapes is the latest in a series of leading brands to launch on the King’s Road and Fulham Road, following debut stores for couture milliner Jane Taylor and Danish womenswear brand Noa Noa on the King’s Road. Most recently, Woven, a leading lifestyle brand, also debuted on the Fulham Road.

Shackleton and Miles Commercial acted for Sloane Stanley. Harrison Goaté represented Fake Landscapes.
