Waddington Brown hosts Resilience Training course

With a recent Absence Management survey identifying that two-fifths (41%) of organisations have reported an increase in stress-related staff absences, HR recruitment specialist Waddington Brown, is hosting two complimentary courses for HR professionals that focus on the topic of Resilience.

Hosted in conjunction with business coaching consultancy, Changing Dialogues, the training courses are designed to help HR professionals address the topic of resilience, and will probe into the resilience of workforces and offer guidance on how to spot the signs of ‘change fatigue’, whilst offering measures that can be put into place to address the matter.

The courses, which are being offered on a first-come-first-served basis, take place in Ipswich on Friday 23 October and in Lowestoft on Thursday 5 November.

Rachel Jackson, founder of Changing Dialogues said: “Stress management, long-term sickness and change fatigue have become a regular feature in our corporate language and so it’s easy to understand why bookstores are filled with ways to downsize, detox or ultimately escape our busy lives. However have our lives become more stressful or change-ridden than our parents’ generation, or have we simply changed the way we think and deal with change? The Resilience course will help HR professionals address this subject and look at ways of supporting staff in their organisations.”

Helen Timmons, co-founder and director of Waddington Brown added: “As the paths of communication grow faster and the demands to deliver increase, the Resilience course looks at how you can best equip yourself, your workplace and your organisation to maintain perspective, objectivity and resilience. We are offering the course free of charge and so encourage interested parties to register their interest as soon as possible as places are limited.”

To sign up to the course, contact Lawrence Smith on 01473 359159.
