Frank’s the Flooring Store grows North East presence with fleet investment
Retailer Frank’s the Flooring Store has invested in a fleet of six new vans as it continues to grow its presence across the North East.
The investment comes as preparations continue for the opening of the new, larger Consett store, and following the opening of the 25th Frank’s store in Cramlington earlier this year.
Frank’s stores are supported by warehousing that can hold more than three million square metres of flooring and the vans will reportedly provide a key part of the network that delivers and installs these products to customers across the region.
Mick Copeland, Business Development Manager at Frank’s the Flooring Store, said: “Frank’s the Flooring Store is about more than simply an in-store experience and market leading prices, it is about the full service, from walking through the doors of the shop to speedy delivery and quality fitting.
“That’s why we are investing not only in our stores, but in this fleet of vans, which is an important part of our network.
“We have also invested in bringing in new products, such as luxury vinyl tiles and artificial grass, both of which are becoming increasingly popular, and the new vans will carry that message around the region’s roads, reinforcing our position as a one-stop-shop for all types of flooring.”
