Communications agency Beattie announces office move and new jobs
PR agency Beattie Communications is moving its Manchester team to a new office in the city centre following a record year of growth.
The firm has seen its turnover grow by 25% over the last 12 months and now plans to accommodate its growing team with a larger base in Woolwich House, Mosley Street.
Beattie is looking to recruit a new head of digital marketing and four consultants when it moves into the new premises.
Managing director Laurna Woods said: “Business in Manchester is booming and our new office will allow us to double the size of our PR team and launch a brand new digital marketing team in the city.”
Fresh client wins over the past year, including contracts with waste management firm Biffa and property developer Select Property Group, drove Beattie’s turnover to its highest point in 10 years.
The head of Beattie’s Manchester office, Siobhan Chesher, commented: “The last 12 months were the most successful of the last decade for the Beattie team in Manchester.
“Turnover grew by 25 per cent and we are confident the next 12 months will also be a record breaker.”
She added: “Our new base will ideally position us to continue this growth and attract the best talent in the North West for our new roles.”
With £16m in fees under management, the London-headquartered company will move into its new premises later this month.
