Redsun Developments completes phase one of innovate:speke
Liverpool property firm Redsun Developments has delivered phase one of its innovate:speke scheme at Venture Point business park, securing two occupiers for the new space.
Two of the four units to be built at the Speke development are now complete, with tattoo equipment company Killer Ink Ltd and audio system supplier Studiocare Professional Audio Ltd taking 15,000 sq ft and 18,000 sq ft respectively.
Redsun Developments’ Nick Wightman commented: “We always design our developments with occupiers in mind, so Killer Ink and Studiocare can both expect their businesses to benefit greatly by occupying units on our innovate:speke development.
“The demand for our product on this development has been really strong and we’ve got a great mix of occupiers signed up for the four units.”
Once complete, innovate:speke will comprise four industrial workspace units built over 4.5 acres of brownfield land.
Commenting on the scheme, Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson, who is this week leading a trade delegation to the US, said: “This development will help create more jobs and is already helping local firms to expand.
“Redsun Developments are to be congratulated on completing the first phase of an initiative which will stimulate enterprise and we look forward to the next phase of innovate:speke.”
Phase two of innovate:speke is due for completion later this year and will make a further 40,000 sq ft available.
