Business graduate joins ever-growing team
Top North East procurement consortium, NE Procurement, have added a business administrator to their team in a bid to expand their offering across the region.
Bobbie Kondakova has joined the team after completing a Business Management degree at Newcastle University Business School earlier this year.
During her time at university, Bobbie volunteered in various finance roles for national charities, including Sue Ryder and Oxfam, to gain experience in how organisations’ finance departments are run.
Bobbie also spent some time as an e-mentor at Newcastle University, providing support and guidance to pupils from under-represented groups through their transition from school to university.
Bobbie said: “What stood out to me when looking at this role was NE Procurement’s genuine commitment to social value. It’s a core part of the business and something I feel passionate about and love being involved with.”
Bobbie’s role will cover everything from the day-to-day running of the NE Procurement office, to finance expenditure and events management.
Rod Brasington, Chief Executive of NE Procurement said: “We are thrilled to have Bobbie join our team. She has already settled well into her role and is a great asset to the team.”
NE Procurement is a procurement consortium set up by a number of social housing landlords to provide members with labour, materials and services through their various frameworks which offer value for money solutions and efficiencies to the procurement process.
