Preston firm partners up with ITV on Celebrity Juice project
A Preston-based events firm has teamed up with ITV to provide entertainment equipment for the latest episode of Celebrity Juice.
The deal saw Sunshine Events provide its Cash Grabber for the celebrity quiz show, replacing the foil tickets in the air cylinder device with packets of crisps.
The firm’s Cash Grabber was used in a ‘Crisp’nado’ challenge in which TV personality Joey Essex and pop singer Ella Eyre battled it out to see who could catch the most snack packets.
Sunshine Events’ director of fun, James Sandwell, said: “We were delighted to be asked by ITV2 to help Keith Lemon put on a fantastic show for his celebrity guests.
“We’ve supplied entertainment for thousands of events across the UK and to see famous faces having so much fun with our equipment is extremely rewarding.”
Established 12 years ago, Sunshine Events employs a team of 40 at its head office on Tulketh Road.
