2 million and counting through i2B Connect!
i2B, a North East based, Purchase to Pay Software established in 1999 is celebrating a huge milestone having worked with Global engineering giant Weir Group since 2012. This month marks Weir Group’s 2 millionth purchase order line communicated to their suppliers.
Weir Group have implemented i2B Connect across 18 global locations – that’s some scale and something the NetPark team do day in day out for clients.
The cloud based purchase to pay software takes the hastle and firefighting away from constantly chasing suppliers by phone, email and fax – it also integrates with existing ERP systems, meaning it enhances any systems already in place.
“Weir Group is just one example of a global organisation working smarter. We’re seeing more customers come on board because they’re used to everything else in their business working faster and smarter, yet they’re often still hamstrung by constantly running around between systems. Their purchasing teams are often chasing suppliers, suppliers are ringing up constantly and i2B Connect takes away all of those headaches. The eureka moment happens when a potential client realises that this doesn’t take anything away from any of ERP systems they already have in place, we just bolt on and compliment what’s already happening” says Hilary Kinnair of i2B.
Weir Group clearly saw the benefit back in October 2012 and year on year, they’ve been rolling out the i2B software group wide. The cost savings to the Weir Group were immediate. Weir Group had traditionally sent out purchase orders by fax or post and often had to follow up with a phone call. Replacing this with i2B Connect meant that they could streamline the entire process and cut down on time and spending. It also meant that their suppliers could simply login to i2B Connect and answer their own questions! No phone calls, no chasing, just easy access within the cloud.
