Loaf Creative moves to Northern Quarter after 10 years in business

North West agency Loaf Creative has marked its 10th anniversary with a move into the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

The firm, which achieved a turnover of £1m this year, has established the new studio in the grade II-listed Waulk Mill development on Bengal Street following a six-figure investment.

Loaf worked alongside Chorley-based Concrete Juice when designing the interiors of its Northern Quarter office, which comprises 3,000 sq ft taken on a six-year lease.

The agency previously occupied a 2,000 sq ft, two-floor unit in Skelmersdale’s White Moss Business Park.

Alan Houghton, a co-director at Loaf, said of the decision to move: “Working away from a city centre certainly hasn’t held us back, but we are certain that even more people will take notice of us given a Manchester address.

“It will also help us to attract the right talent, and give our team the right environment for creative development.”
