Skipton’s Belle Vue Square development is now a full house
The No 1 Belle Vue Square development in Skipton town centre is now a full house.
The entire office scheme is now fully occupied after Leeds-based Rushbond Plc let the remaining 4,500 sq ft to JBA Consulting.
JBA Consulting boasts teams of engineers, environmental consultants, designers and scientists, that are committed to the natural and built environment as well as creating sustainable communities.
The company works across a range of sectors on projects throughout the UK and Ireland with a team of 350 employees.
Rushbond’s Belle Vue Square development, on Broughton Road, consists of approximately 150,000 sq ft of office, leisure and residential space, as well as a landscaped Civic square, within a cluster of Grade-II listed former mill buildings.
JBA Consulting’s new office in the West Wing of Belle Vue Square will be the hub for the Marine and Coastal Risk Management team, specialising in coastal flood mapping, modelling and coastal processes, as well as the company’s Software Service Development team focusing on software development, Network Rail support and asset management for local authorities.
Marc Pinnell, managing director at JBA Consulting, said: “JBA has been synonymous with North Yorkshire and specifically Skipton since our formation in 1995. The additional space within our new office will improve the working environment for our staff. Its accessibility and conference room facilities will allow us to increase the number of external training courses we deliver and share our expertise with flood and water management professionals.”
Richard Baker from Rushbond, added: “The whole ethos at Belle Vue Square has always been about creating a stand-out development that maximises the potential of the stunning 19th century industrial buildings. It has been a huge success and we’re delighted the development’s office space is now all fully occupied. JBA Consulting is a well-known company both locally and nationally, with an enviable selection of clients, which makes them a fantastic occupier for this building.”
Other occupiers at Belle Vue Square include Craven District Council, North Yorkshire County Council, Medacs Healthcare and Rural Solutions.
