Business Wales teams up with Google accredited partner for free digital marketing workshop

Google accredited agency Pro PPC is working in partnership with Business Wales to deliver a free masterclass in digital advertising.

Mold-based Pro PPC is a pay per click consultant which has supported a number of businesses across North Wales in generating online sales leads through paid advertising.

The workshops, in St Asaph and Caernarfon, are provided free of charge by the Welsh Government’s business support service in association with BT Superfast Broadband.

Both events will provide attendees with tools needed to run a successful online advertising campaign.

Dan Wilkinson, PPC and website marketing strategist for Pro PPC, said that North Wales businesses had an opportunity to maximise the benefits of online marketing thanks to recent improvements to broadband services across the region.

Dan said: “We’ve hosted similar workshops over the last few months, and had fantastic feedback from attendees, many of whom have already benefitted from online marketing and advertising.

“I think that historically, businesses in North Wales have relied on more traditional forms of advertising. But with the development of BT’s Superfast Broadband, businesses are now better equipped to take advantage of the online marketplace.

“The workshops are suitable for all sizes of businesses and marketing budgets, and will provide practical advice on how to run a successful online marketing campaign.”

Topics will include a step-by-step tutorial on how to set up a Google AdWords campaign, optimising and improving live campaigns, and the use of tools such as YouTube and Google Analytics.

The St Asaph workshop will take place at the Oriel House Hotel on Tuesday November 3, and the Caernarfon workshop at the Celtic Royal Hotel on Friday November 6. Both workshops run from 9am until 5pm.

All Business Wales services are free and delivered bilingually from offices in Bangor, St Asaph, Holywell and Wrexham.
