Bradley Hall restructures management team amidst North East expansion

Independent chartered surveyor and estate agent Bradley Hall has restructured its management team as the firm is opening new branches across the region.

Director Neil Hart becomes managing director while Peter Bartley becomes operations director of the firm, now operating across Newcastle city centre, Gosforth, Durham and Alnwick.

Bradley Hall’s founder, Graham Hall, remains within the firm but in a new role, as non-executive chairman. Other directors on the board with Neil and Peter are Geoff Davis, finance director, and Richard Rafique, who have now become shareholders in the firm.

Plans are underway for the company to open its 4th residential branch in Newcastle city centre, along with plans to expand the current commercial head office in Grey Street. A few months ago the firm opened a residential branch in Alnwick to meet the growing demand in central and northern Northumberland.

Graham Hall said: “From a traditional chartered surveying practice, Bradley Hall has emerged over the years and developed into a full service property agency, the leading independent firm in the North East. I am delighted to hand over the reins to a young, ambitious management team determined to continue our growth.

“I have been lucky to work with some great clients and professional business friends over the decades and hope to maintain some of these relationships in my new, advisory role.”

Neil Hart explained: “Bradley Hall goes from strength to strength. Commercial property remains the bedrock of our business but residential, under the strong leadership of Peter Bartley, is set to make a stronger contribution as we raise our profile and activity across the North East.

“We now find ourselves in the unique position where all the directors of Bradley Hall are owner-shareholders in the business. We know from experience that our clients like working with decision makers.”

In its 25th year as an estate agent and almost 30 as a chartered surveying firm, Bradley Hall is enjoying annual turnover of around £1.5m and is managing almost 600 residential and commercial properties for clients, along with a rising rent roll of almost £5m per annum.
