Graydon UK Launches Digital Learning Platform

The Graydon Learning Centre is unveiled, providing employees the flexibility to learn at a time and location suitable to them

Business information specialist Graydon UK today announced the launch of The Graydon Learning Centre, an e-learning platform specifically designed to address the growing demand for flexible and continuous learning. The solution boasts a diverse set of interactive learning activities aimed at employees of all abilities, working in the field of credit management.

Commenting on the launch, Craig Evans, Head of Business Development at Graydon UK said: “Investing in your staff and enhancing their knowledge is vital if you want them to continue to advance, both professionally and personally. Indeed, learning has to become a constant factor. This is particularly true in the world of credit management, where the market and technology are evolving so rapidly that it is a necessity to retrain and educate yourself constantly, in order to keep up and maintain competitiveness.”

Addressing this requirement, the intuitive online learning platform gives employees access to e-learning modules, e-papers, e-books, industry surveys, infographics, tutorials, blogs, tools and more. Developed by leading professionals in credit management, learning activities are bundled in interactive learning modules that can be accessed whenever and wherever the user wishes, via their device of choice.

Anne Lukas, E-Learning Specialist at Graydon said: “The need for credit professionals to future-proof themselves is nothing new, but due to the explosion in data available to them, the role of the future credit manager will change significantly. We have therefore developed The Graydon Learning Centre to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need for the future.” She continued: “There still remains a place for conventional classroom learning, but a blended approach brings significant benefits. Digital learning enables staff to keep pace with developments and enhance their specialist knowledge so that they not only become better at their jobs, but are also able to conduct their business in a well-informed way.”

Flexibility at its heart

Explaining the wide range of features of The Graydon Learning Centre, Anne Lukas commented: “Flexibility is at the heart of the platform and as such we have designed two specific roles. In addition to the User, the Manager has the ability to design a custom-developed curriculum for their staff. This affords them insight into their employees’ progress and results, while identifying other areas for development. Additionally, the employee can select their own courses, webinars or other learning activities and build them into their learning plan.”

It’s common knowledge that successful businesses are knowledgeable businesses and it is the responsibility of a good employer to provide training that relates to the role and tasks of employees. Undoubtedly knowledge ensures creative ideas, but also protects a business and boosts productivity - lifelong learning is now essential.
