JCT600 keeps the ball rolling with the Bees

Yorkshire car retailer JCT600 is extending its sponsorship deal with Bradford & Bingley Rugby Club with the Bees sporting a brand new kit for the 2015/16 season.

Based in Bradford, JCT600 has supported the Bees rugby club based in Wagon Lane, Bingley, for the last 12 years.

The new deal will include the 1st XV, and extend to other teams within the club with a kit provision for the best Junior Club Team for the season and the sponsorship will include the Bumbles shirts.

JCT600 also promotes its dealerships in the clubhouse, around the stadium, in the match programme and displays a selection of its cars at home matches.

Martin Whitcombe, director of coaching at the Bees, said: “I am really excited that JCT600 will be getting involved with other teams in the club as well as the first team. A major part of the first team’s success will be the development of players throughout the club, and I’m delighted such a respected brand as JCT600 will support the club at all levels, especially our mixed ability team, the Bumbles.”

Jack Tordoff, Chairman of JCT600, added: “With our long heritage and strong Yorkshire roots, we have remained committed to our ethos of giving something back to the local communities in which we operate. Our support of the Bees is a great example of this and we are proud to be able to extend the sponsorship of this great local club.”

Bumble Bees manager, talking about the roll out of mixed ability rugby across the country, said: “With all this travelling, we invested in a seven seat Zafira from JCT600. We are part of the Bees family and wanted to make sure that we showed our appreciation for the long term sponsorship and association that JCT600 has with our parent club.”

JCT600 now has 50 dealerships throughout Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and the North East and sells 18 global brands such as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW/MINI, Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Vauxhall and Volkswagen. The group now employs a workforce of 2,000 people.
