MediaCityUK firm Unit10 secures Rastamouse licence
MediaCityUK-based events firm Unit10 Eventive has secured the rights to offer face-to-face and mini-show entertainment featuring characters and branding from Rastamouse, a children’s animated TV series.
Unit10, which provides branded family entertainment for the visitor and retail sector, formally secured the deal at the recent Brand Licensing Europe event held in London’s Olympia exhibition centre.
The managing director of Unit10, Mike Taylor, said: “We’re delighted to be collaborating with the Rastamouse Company and are looking forward to working with this exciting brand.
“We have some great ideas to increase the visibility of the property within our client base, who are always seeking branded, family friendly content for their customers.”
With the licence in place, Unit10 intends to launch its Rastamouse service this month, with plans to build the brand and expand the Rastamouse range of events in the years to come.
Greg Boardman, the director of Rastamouse Company Ltd, commented: “We have worked with Unit10’s creative director, Moray London, for the last three years on a number of fantastic Rastamouse projects all around the UK and believe Unit 10 are in the best position possible to exploit the potential of Rastamouse within their network of visitor and shopping destinations.”
Unit10 operates from The Landing, a creative space located at the centre of the MediaCityUK development, where it launched in 2014.
MD Mike continued: “The company has had a fabulous start and is setting about acquiring a stellar list of brands as well as a growing list of clients who wish to use our services.”
