Hallidays announces launch of Stockport Business Angels
Hallidays, the accountancy and business advisory firm, has announced the launch of a new initiative to provide investment for entrepreneurs in Stockport.
The firm has teamed up with investment organisation North West Business Angels to launch Stockport Business Angels, an ongoing programme of events through which growing businesses can pitch for funding of up to £500k.
The Dragons’ Den-style events, the first of which will take place this Thursday (November 12), will see entrepreneurs showcasing their products, services and ideas to an audience of investors.
The managing director of Hallidays, Nigel Bennett, said: “Hallidays are delighted to be involved with initiatives that help the local community.
“We look forward to seeing the ideas that are constantly being generated by Stockport businesses.”
Stockport Business Angels will provide a number of services, including face-to-face business support for both companies and angels to act as a broker between the two.
Steven Wall, an access to finance specialist at the Business Growth Hub, commented: “North West Business Angels are delighted to be working alongside Hallidays to support this initiative and provide an alternative source of funding for SMEs in the Stockport business community.”
