Victoria’s Secret is one of a number of new brands at Liverpool ONE

Lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret to establish flagship L1 store

Victoria’s Secret is set to open a flagship store in Liverpool ONE after signing up for a huge unit on lower South John Street.

The firm, along with sister brand Victoria’s Secret PINK, has signed up for 10,000 sq ft of space in the city centre retail quarter.

Work on the store, which involves combining several units into one, will begin early next year, with plans for an official launch at some point later in 2016.

To accommodate the new Victoria’s Secret and Victoria’s Secret PINK, Grosvenor Fund Management, the firm behind Liverpool ONE, has announced the relocation of the existing Card Factory and Ann Summers shops to new space on South John Street.

Victoria’s Secret is one of a number of brands to have moved into Liverpool ONE or expanded their presence at the complex in the past year.

US fashion retailer Michael Kors chose Liverpool ONE for its second branch outside London, setting up shop on Peter’s Lane. Clothing line Zara, meanwhile, established a 27,000 sq ft flagship on South John Street and German fashion brand Hugo Boss upsized its existing store in July to create new boutique space.

Cushman & Wakefield represented Liverpool ONE along with Metis Real Estate Advisors, while commercial property company CBRE acted for Victoria’s Secret. Advisory firm Barker Proudlove represented Card Factory and consultants Rapleys dealt for Ann Summers.
