Awarding Exceptional Bid and Proposal Professionals Across UK
Each year the Association of Bid and Proposal Management Professionals in the UK (APMP UK) recognises the organisations, teams and individuals who have shone over the previous 12 months.
On October 21st, over 200 bid professionals attended the APMP UK Black Tie Award Dinner at the Park Inn Hotel, Heathrow, London to celebrate the achievements of fellow colleagues. An unprecedented number of award nominations had been submitted across the six award categories; Best Newcomer, Innovation, Bid Excellence, People Development, Writing and Knowledge Management.
The Award Dinner was preceded by a two day Annual Conference and a Training Day. AAPMP UK members had the choice of attending over 24 bid and proposal related speaker sessions and the opportunity to learn more about professional certification, as well as sharpening skills in areas such as final document review (`red team’), writing executive summaries, capture planning development and many others.
The Award Winners on the night were:
Best Newcomer: Rachel Munro (Hymans Robertson LLP)
To recognise a new recruit to the profession within the past 18 months who has made a significant contribution or impact to their organisation.
Innovation: Amey Work Winning Services
