Export Hub truck comes to Old Trafford
Rounding off last week’s nationwide export-related events, the Exporting is GREAT roadshow truck landed in Manchester.
Local businesses that wish to trade overseas or shore up their current export strategies had the opportunity to receive advice from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), as well as speak to other businesses about their own experiences.
Inside the Export Hub truck, which pulled up at Old Trafford on Friday (November 13), UKTI’s North West regional director, Clive Drinkwater, held brief sessions in which he talked about the Exporting is GREAT campaign and how businesses can take advantage of the opportunities presented.
Clive said: “Exporting helps companies to grow, and taking those initial steps to find out more can prove invaluable.
“UKTI and our partners in the North West are determined to help local companies succeed in the global race.”
He added: “We’re already working with thousands of companies across the region to do just that – we want to help a great many more.”
The government’s Exporting is GREAT initiative is aiming to inspire and support 100k more UK exporters in the next five years.
The roadshow will travel all over the UK, including a series of events across Yorkshire.
