Part exchange could be the answer as countdown to Christmas begins

Part exchange could be the answer for anyone looking to move into a new home on an exclusive development in Oxford before Christmas, according to one of the region’s leading housebuilders.

Charles Church North London is offering a part exchange scheme on its Tilbury Fields development, helping people move into their dream home without the hassle of putting their existing home on the market.

It is feared buyers have now missed the chance to be in their new home before the festive season because on average it takes 86 days to sell and complete in the current market. That’s according to the data from the Move with Us market review, which analysed 3,400 properties on the market with home.co.uk.

However, Charles Church believe that part exchange is one way of bucking the trend as moving times can be greatly reduced compared with a normal house move. Greg Kaye, head of sales at Charles Church North London, said: “Part exchange is a popular scheme that helps people who are looking to buy a new home without the hassle of selling their existing property.

“If people qualify for the scheme then things couldn’t be simpler. We will arrange for at least two valuations, agree a market price and buy their existing property. We aim to help those with a property to sell by making the whole process totally stress-free, with people being able to move at a time to suit them.”

Boasting a choice of four and five bedroom homes in the charming village of Botley, Tilbury Fields offers the quality that is synonymous with Charles Church.

Greg added: “With prices starting from £414,950 and a limited number of plots available for Christmas, we would urge people to act quickly if they want to live here.”
