Argentinian steakhouse to open in Salford
Restaurant chain CAU has chosen the MediaCityUK development in Salford as the location for its newest steakhouse.
The Argentinian eatery will open next month in Orange Tower, next to the new Pret A Manger store.
The restaurant will be the chain’s 16th in the UK and the eighth to open this year following the launch of CAU Glasgow.
Cau’s managing director, Graham Hall, said: “We’re very excited to be opening at MediaCityUK, as one of the most distinguished creative and digital hubs in the UK; we think CAU’s style of food, design and service fit perfectly with the scheme and its future.”
The interior will feature corrugated booth seating and sky and grass imagery, in a 3,000 sq ft unit with space for 110 diners.
MediaCityUK’s head of asset management, Mark Robinson, commented: “MediaCityUK continues to evolve and is home to over 250 businesses and thousands of visitors each year, so having a diverse mix of restaurants means there is exciting choice for all.
“Cau is a fabulous brand to have at MediaCityUK, with their menus and quality of food - but it’s the attention to detail and the ethos of making everything fresh on site that really sets them apart from the rest.”
