Exhibition contractor Full Circle Events lands £460k boost

An exhibition and events contractor based in Salford has brought its manufacturing operations in house and sought out larger contracts after securing six-figure funding.

Full Circle Events will use a £460k cash boost secured through Business Growth Hub, which is part of Manchester Growth Company (MGC), to push its turnover from £3.87m to £5.2m next year and take on more staff.

Helenya Jones, the finance director at Full Circle, said: “The contribution the Hub have given us is a real boost to the business.

“We were in a tricky situation with our resources stretched and not allowing us to take on new business.”

She continued: “The funding has allowed us to get back on track to achieve our growth plan we are starting to win new contracts with clients who typically would go to larger competitors, which is a great result.”

“Services like the Business Growth Hub are vital for SMEs in the region and we look forward to continuing our work with them as we develop the business.”

Founded two years ago, Full Circle supplies exhibition and event builds, as well as graphic design services. The firm currently employs 60 people across its offices in Salford and London.

Richard Perkins, a Business Growth Hub advisor, commented: “Full Circle Events was having a problem with accessing the right kind of finance, as is the case for many SMEs.

“This significantly affected the cash flow of the business, stretching its creditors and meant it suffered from unattainable levels of demand from contracts.”

He added: “At the Hub, we have good relationships with the high-street banks, and many alternative lenders, and were able to use these to secure the company funding of £460k.

“It is important for SMEs to use the network around them in order to take advantage of the funding and growth opportunities around the region.”
