Multi Source Power to triple workforce at new Cumbria facility
Multi Source Power (MSP), a firm that provides power systems for sustainable technologies, is moving to bigger premises in Cumbria to accommodate its growth plans.
The company is relocating from its existing base in Hawkshead to a new facility at Elmsfield Park in the Holme area, with plans to create up to 20 new jobs over the coming year.
The move, scheduled for next month, will see MSP’s 10-strong team working from a 12,000 sq ft, two-floor industrial unit that includes test bays, development labs and office space.
MSP’s chief exec and founder, Simon Patterson, said: “This move comes at an exciting time for the business.
“We’ve outgrown our site in Hawkshead and the move to this new, bigger unit gives us the space we need to develop our operation nationally and internationally.
He continued: “Our technology is clean, efficient, light and reliable for a diverse range of uses where there is a need for continuous power and the next 12 months will see us create up to 20 new jobs as the opportunities and interest in what we offer continues to rise.”
