Unwritten chooses Newcastle's Citygate House to begin next chapter
Creative agency Unwritten has relocated from its premises at Hoults Yard to Citygate House in Newcastle.
The business, which has seven staff, was founded in 2014 by Directors Amy Jackson and Lisa Eaton, will occupy now 1,200 sq ft of space, as throws dwn an aim of tripling its turnover.
In its first financial year, to March 31, 2015, the company achieved a turnover of £128k, trading for less than 10 months. Now, Unwritten is on target to take that figure beyond the £400k in the current financial year.
Having created and filled two new roles in the past six months, the firm is also planning on creating more openings in the coming weeks and months, including a Creative Director, Website Developer and Project Manager.
Clients include Newcastle International Airport, the NHS, Akzonobel, NewcastleGateshead Initiative, Tyne & Wear Museums, and Seven Stories.
Amy Jackson said: “The first 18 months of Unwritten has been exciting beyond all expectations, with some amazing projects for some incredible clients. We have built a great team that we are now looking to grow, building on an existing fantastic client base.”
Lisa Eaton added: “Starting up in a creative hub, Hoults Yard, was a great way to take our first steps, but moving to Citygate House now offers us an opportunity to thrive and grow in the heart of one of the greatest cities in the world and in a building with such a rich and interesting history.”
