Everton launch new shop in time for Aston Villa game
Everton FC’s new club shop is set to launch tomorrow (November 21), opening its doors for fans attending the match against Aston Villa.
The new matchday store will be called The Toffee Shop, a name submitted by Blues fan Gerard Fennell in a competition launched by the club earlier this month.
Located on the corner of Gwladys Street and Bullens Road, within the footprint of Goodison, the store will be able to target fans travelling to matches along Walton Lane.
Former Everton midfielder Graham Stuart will be on hand as an ambassador of the club to officially launch the shop at noon on Saturday.
The Toffee Shop will expand Everton’s retail offering by adding a third location to its network of Merseyside stores.
The launch follows the announcement that attendance levels at Goodison during the 2014/15 season were the club’s highest in 11 years.
