LaunchPad offers six-figure fund to boost North Liverpool
A new fund worth £300k is hoping to grow enterprise in the north of Liverpool by bring the ideas of artists and businesses to fruition.
LaunchPad is seeking to support between 10 and 15 projects in North Liverpool to tackle unemployment, bring commercial and retail space back into use and stimulate investment.
To receive between £300 and £30k, participants’ ideas need to have the potential to be commercially viable or able to secure contracts.
Those accepted will have a 12-week period in which to develop, test and introduce their ideas.
Erika Rushton, who is leading LaunchPad’s delivery, said: “We’re not looking for business plans, were looking for people who want to work as part of a growing community of entrepreneurs and adventurers who are trying things out, making things happen, delivering local benefit and building the future North Liverpool.”
