Carfinance247 adds to office space following recruitment surge
Online motor finance broker Carfinance247 has acquired more office space in Manchester to accommodate its growing workforce.
After hiring 60 people in the last quarter, bringing its total staff count above 200, the firm secured a further 10,500 sq ft at Albion Mill in the Ancoats area of Manchester.
Managing Director, Reg Rix said: “Employing an ambitious and dedicated team is paramount to our continued success and the remarkable year we’ve had is down to the people we have working for us. We were also delighted to have been recognised as one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to work for earlier this year.
“Of course we want to attract the best talent so we’ve invested in an additional modern office space with the latest facilities as a base for our expanding team.”
He added: “Manchester is an ideal location for us. We work nationwide and Ancoats is a great place for a growing business, close to major travel links within the City and an up and coming area.”
This year, the company saw its turnover leap by 280%.
Commenting on the growth, Reg said: “This year has been phenomenal. On top of that we are now seeing a buoyant marketplace and a recovering economy, with customers happy to arrange finance via the internet.”
Speaking further, he said he expects the growth trend to continue in 2016.
