Harbur Construction delivers newbuilds to transform Lancashire ‘eyesore’
Developer Harbur Construction has handed over 23 new homes at a multi-million-pound housing scheme in Padiham, Lancashire.
The Manchester-based company built the two-, three- and four-bedroom properties of the Calder Green development for housing firm Airevale Homes, on the former site of a derelict factory off Station Road.
Richard Hutchinson, Harbur Construction’s MD, said: “The new development has not only helped to regenerate an eyesore site, but has also boosted the supply of high-quality family housing in an area where demand is high.”
The latest homes to be handed over form the third phase of a six-stage, 120-home development. So far, planning permission has been secured for 82 of the homes and outline planning consent on a further 38.
Merrissa Fallas, a project manager with Airevale Homes, commented: “Harbur Construction has delivered a scheme of high quality family homes which fully reflects our design vision.”
Airevale Homes is making the newbuilds available for private sale.
