Sky Betting and Gaming scoops awards
Leeds-based online betting and gaming operator Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) scooped four accolades at yesterday’s prestigious EGR Operator Awards, more than any other operator, including Mobile Operator of the Year for the second year running.
They also picked up Mobile Poker Product of the Year, Horse Race Betting Operator of the Year and Mobile Sports Product of the year. SB&G owned Odds Checker also won Sports Affiliate of the Year. The company was also highly commended in the affiliate of the year and sports betting operator of the year categories.
Richard Flint, SB&G CEO, said: “I’m delighted that Sky Betting & Gaming has won four EGR awards. These are widely acknowledged as the industry’s leading awards ceremony, and we are particularly pleased that our success in mobile has been recognised. Mobile has been a real focus for our Yorkshire based technology and product teams who continue to innovate and lead the way, not just in the egaming industry, but across UK e-commerce.
“Furthermore it is great that our recent success in horse racing has been recognised and I would like to thank and congratulate the whole team who have really improved our approach and focus in this area.”
The EGR Operator Awards is the most prestigious event in the e-gaming calendar, attracting more than 700 industry professionals from the world’s leading online gaming firms, who gathered at the Artillery Garden in London last night to celebrate operational excellence and commercial success in the sector.
