Businesses invited to ‘Punch Above their Weight’
North Durham accountancy firm, Valued Accountancy has announced details of its next ‘Punch Above Your Weight’ event with another strong panel of speakers.
The free business event will be held at St. James’ Park, Newcastle upon Tyne on Thursday, December 3 from 8.30am until 11.30am.
The first ‘Punch Above Your Weight’ event, which was held in September, proved to be extremely popular with over 50 delegates in attendance. Guest speakers shared their business journey’s and stories by highlighting their successes, failures, highlighting what worked for them and top tips on what all business owners should look out for.
This week’s event is already attracting huge interest from North East business owners and entrepreneurs who will be able to listen to speakers such as Dr. Christopher Laing, Managing Director of Sciendum Ltd, Teresa Peters, Co-founder of Relish Publications and Alan Dawson of Alan Dawson Consultancy.
Stephen Paul, Managing Director of Valued Accountancy, said: “The feedback we received from our first Punch Above Your Weight event was excellent and when we set out to organise these events, we didn’t expect it to be so successful but it’s just a great opportunity for like-minded people and businesses to share their success stories with some of the most influential business minds.
“The North East is a hotbed of talent and if these free events bring businesses together to help each other succeed and grow then that can only be a good thing. Once again, we have a great line up of speakers and if people go away with one or two ideas they can implement in their own businesses then we have succeeded.”
