SAScon Beta return for fifth year with top keynote speakers

The UK’s leading search, analytics and social media conference SAScon, is launching its spin off event, SAScon Beta, for the fifth consecutive year and will feature two top keynote speakers from Vodafone and Twitter.

SAScon Beta, will take place on 4 December 2015 from 9.00am to 6.00pm at the newly built Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) Student Union.

Nick Wilsdon, SEO lead at Vodafone Group, has been announced as the first keynote speaker that will feature at the event, and will be focusing his discussion around the future of enterprise SEO. Second keynote speaker, Dennis Bree, UK and Ireland MMS sales manager at Twitter, will be delivering his talk on the topic of social media content.

The one-day event is made up of a series of presentations and talks from inspirational keynote and panel speakers. This year’s speaker sessions will include Sandy Lindsay MBE, founder and chair of Tangerine PR and David Edmundson-Bird, principal lecturer in digital marketing and enterprise at MMU who will look at ‘skills and the industry’. There will also be discussions on topics such as ‘newsjacking’, ‘the science of PPC’ and ‘the importance of storytelling in social media’.

SAScon Beta, which takes place every year, brings together professionals from the digital marketing industry with the aim of showcasing revolutionary practise and thinking from within the sector. The general theme of the event this year will focus on content driven PR and news stories, and who is leading the way in securing the top search rankings – be that the PR industry or SEO, social and digital professionals.
