Three newcomers welcomed at Trafford Park

Three units in the Wharfside building at Trafford Park, offering a combined 34,526 sq ft of space, have been snapped up by new occupiers.

Pharma product supplier DE Pharmaceuticals has taken 16,720 sq ft on a 10-year lease, while data centre operator LDeX Group will occupy 9,337 sq ft on a 20-year lease. Construction equipment manufacturer Hilti, meanwhile, has signed a 10-year deal for 8,469 sq ft.

The new tenants were secured by the industrial agency team at the Manchester office of real estate firm CBRE, along with property agent Knight Frank.

Steve Capper, an associate director for CBRE, said: “We are delighted to have completed the three deals at Wharfside, resulting in just one remaining available unit.

“The estate is well located next to the entrance to Trafford Park and offers the modern, quality space that occupiers are looking for.”

He added: “Activity within the North West industrial sector remains strong and occupiers recognise that readily available good quality space is in short supply, and that they now have to move quickly to secure it.”

The Wharfside building comprises refurbished industrial units with two-storey offices, along with parking facilities and loading areas.

Following the trio of new occupiers at the site, only the 9,000 sq ft Unit 7 remains available for lease.

Knight Frank associate Steve Manifold commented: “In addition to the excellent location Wharfside commands, all three units were refurbished to a high standard allowing the occupiers to facilitate occupation without concern for any works required before their specific fit-outs.

“A similar full refurbishment programme is proposed for Unit 7 which overlooks Wharfside Way.”
