Multi Channel Software Platform Gnatta places at Startup’s

Multi channel interface Gnatta placed 3rd, whittled down from 6 high-profile finalists from the Tech sphere in Startups’ “Tech Business of the Year” award. The competitors alongside Gnatta included “Commuter Club”, “Flubit”, “Purple Bricks”, “Roc Technologies” and “Zerolight”, all renowned specialists in their own niches.

Previous winners at these coveted awards include Naked Wines, NotOnTheHighStreet.com, Secret Escapes, Raspberry PI and The Cambridge Satchel Company.

A written pitch was submitted in advance, and the winners announced on the night. The pitch, co-written by CEO and Founder Jack Barmby and PR Assistant Elena Lockett, introduced Gnatta as software that brings together customer interactions from traditional and modern channels to give you an informed, united customer view.

Startups is one of the first places any budding business should look for some starter advice and tips. They are the UK’s leading independent, online resource for anyone starting and growing a business, covering ideas from business inspiration to tips on surviving rapid expansion.

Whether you deal in Fintech, Fashtech, Medtech, Adtech, or just plain tech, the rise of initiatives such as Tech City, availability of capital, and the desire for aspiring entrepreneurs to do something big has led to a surge in tech on a scale not seen since the industrial revolution.

Enabled by the internet and building a website to showcase their wares, most new companies could claim to have an element of tech in their businesses. But the Tech Business of the Year category, sponsored by .uk (the domain provided by internet registry service Nominet), represents a great way to celebrate the truly innovative and fast-growing technology companies at the “Tech Business of the Year” award.

21 judges participated in the event, holding between them a huge range of expertise across a number of industries. This included figures such as Cath Kidston, Touker Suleyman from Dragon’s Den,Simon Broughton from the Royal Bank of Scotland and David Buttress from Just-Eat.

In the end, Purple Bricks was declared the winner for their software which is the world’s first 24/7 estate agent, providing dedicated experts with a clever and refreshingly simple online platform. Gnatta proudly took home third place, and looks forward to taking part again next year. General Manager Martin Brown commented: “This is a very proud moment for Gnatta - not only are we excited to place in such a prestigious set of awards as Startups, but we’re humbled at this being the third trophy for our shelf in one week. It’s a turning point for Gnatta. We’ve got big things on the horizon.”

Gnatta allows businesses of all sizes to listen and engage with their customers on an individual basis via one single interface. Enabling customer services to be handled at scale, Gnatta ensures operators can be agnostic towards communication channels, reacting to tweets, Facebook messages, SMS messages, email, marketplace and review sites without the need of deep channel knowledge.
