Bruntwood secure major office deal in Leeds city centre

Bruntwood, the commercial property firm, has just completed one of the largest office lettings of the year in the centre of Leeds.

Towergate Insurance, which is relocating from Armley Road, has taken 8,299 sq ft of quality office space at West One, Bruntwood’s flagship development at the western gateway of the city.

Towergate, which has taken a 10-year-lease on the 7th floor of West One, is paying £22 per sq ft and will bring 100 staff into the centre of Leeds.

The Leeds office of global property consultancy Knight Frank advised Bruntwood on office letting.

This important deal, which sees the company take the whole of the seventh floor, is both a ringing endorsement of our West One development and another example of the renaissance of the western side of the city centre.

With a large presence on Wellington Street, and as one of the largest multi-let office buildings in Leeds city centre, the estate has a lot to offer with a landscaped courtyard and a mix of leisure amenities including two gyms, a newsagent, sandwich shops, a dry cleaners and a Starbucks,” he explained.
