Globus in fourth place as the UK’s fastest growing mid-market private company
Globus, a world leader in protecting hands, has achieved fourth place in Investec’s ‘Mid-Market 100’ list. This listing demonstrates trading performance and how successful Globus, with a four year average compound annual growth rate of 77.3% has been.
Investec, a specialist bank providing financial products and services has published its third ‘Mid-Market 100’ list in November 2015. The turnover, profitability, return on capital and employment figures of 25,000 mid-market companies with between £10 million and £200 million of turnover annually were analysed to assess performance.
Speaking about the ranking, Haraldur Agustsson, CEO of Globus Group said: “Following a period of continuous growth resulting in increased market share both in the UK and overseas, I’m really pleased that Globus has made it into the Investec ‘Mid-Market’ list at such a high position. Following on from our recent acquisition of Alpha Solway and persistently strong sales performance across all our sectors, we have some really exciting and significant growth opportunities ahead of us that will lead to even greater success in the future.”
